Interviewing Our Future

On May 13, 2016, 5th graders from Pearson Elementary experienced being interviewed by members of our community in an effort to expose them to the college interview process. Led by our counselor, Mrs. Lina Candelaria, students created resumes which were presented to the interviewers during the process. Hand shake, eye contact, verbal expression, and posture were just a couple of things the students worked on leading up to the interview. A special thank you goes out to the following community members that volunteered their time to this endeavor: Melissa Davis, Liza Garcia, Randy Perez, Jessie Trevino, Nancy Villarreal, Anita Trevino, and Debbie Navaro.
