The Cat in the Hat by dr. Seuss  the sun did not it was too wet to play so we sat in the house in that cold cold wet day  I sat there was Sally you sat there we two and I said how I wish we had something to do too wet to go out and some cold to play ball so we sat in the house and did nothing at all so all we can do is sit sit sit sit and we did not like it not one bit bit bit and then something went bump how that bump made us jump we looked and we saw him step on the map we looked and we saw him the Cat in the Hat  and he said why do you sit there like that I know it is wet and the sun is not Sunny we have lots of good fun that is funny  I know some good games play said the cat I know it's some new tricks The Cat in the Hat a lot of good tricks I will show them to you your mother will not mind at all I do then Sally and I did not know what to say our mother was out of the house with the day  what are fishing no no make that cat go tell that Cat in the Hat you do not want to play  he should not be here he should not be about he should not be here when your where is that  no no have no fear have no fear say cat in the hat my chicks are not bad in Cat in the Hat while we can lots of good fun if you wish  with a game that I caught up up up with a fish  put me down said the fish this is not fun at all put House of the fish I do not want to fall  have no fear say cat in the hat I will not let you fall I will hold you up high as I stand on what's a book on one hand and a cup on my hat but that is not all I can do is that the cat look at me look at me now said the cat with a cup in a cake on the top of my hat we can hold up to books and I can hold up the fish on a little toy ship was some milk on a dish  look I can hop up and down on the ball but that is not all oh no that is not all  look at me look at Look At Me Now what is fun to have fun but you have to know how I can hold up the cup in the milk in the cake I can hold up these books in the fish on a rake can hold up to a toy ship in a little toy man and look with my tail I can hold up a red fan  I can send with the fan cuz I hop on the ball that is not all oh no that is not all  that is what the cat said as he fell on his head he came down with a bump from the bear on the ball Sally and I we saw all the things fall and if it came down to it fell into a pot he said I do not like this oh no I do not Chicago Dream Center Fishers do it no I do not like this not one bit look what you did to the fish to the cat that look at this house I look at this I look at recycle toy ship sinking deep to the cake you shook up our house and you bent our new rake you should not be here when I'm is not you get out of this house said the fish in the pot but I like to be here oh I like it a lot so the cat in the Hat's of the fish in the pot I will not go away I do not wish to go and so so the Cat in the Hat so so so I wish to show you another good game that I know and then you ran out and then fast like a fox in the Cat in the Hat came back with a box  big red wood box was shut with a hook now look at this trick said the cat take a look when it got up on top with the tip of his hat by this game fun and a box Cindy cat in this box are two things I will show it to you now you would like these two things so the cat with a bat I will pick up the hook you will see something new two things and I call them Thing One and Thing Two these things will not bite you they want to have fun then out of the box can Thing 2 and thing one and it was fast they said how do you do would you like to shake hands of Thing 1 and Thing 2 I did not know what to do so we had to shake hands with Thing 1 and Thing 2 we shook their hands but our fish to know know those things are not be here in my house don't go  this should not be here when your mother is not put them out put them out so the fish in the pot  have no fear little fish said the Cat in the Hat these things are good things and he gave them a pat they're our team also team and they have come here to play they give some fun on this wet wet day there's a game if they likes of the cat they like to fly kites and The Cat in the Hat no not in the house at the fish in the pot they should not fly kites in the house no they should not all the things that we'll bump or the things that will hit why do not like this not one bit then Sally and I saw them run down the hall saw the two things from the kites in the wall bump Thump Thump bump down the wall in the hall Thing 1 and Thing 2 they ran up they ran down on the string of the kite we saw mother's new gown her gown with the dots that are pink white and red then we stopped 1K bump on the head of her bed  then those things went about with big bumps jumps and kicks and with her some big stops now kinds of bad checks then I said if mother could see this oh what she would say can a fish that look look in Chris shook with fear your mother is on her way home do here or what would you do to us or what was she say or she will not like it to find us this way so do something fast and the fish do you hear I saw your mother your mother is near so as fast as you can think of something to do you have to get rid of Thing 1 and Thing 2  so as fast as I could I went after my neck and I said with my net I can get am I bet I bet with my neck I can get those things yet then I left my neck and it came down with a Blog and I had them at last those things stop then I said to the cat not do as I say he packed those things up and take them away oh dear said they cat he did not turn down a deer what a shame what a shame what a shame  then he shut up the things into the box with a hook in the cat went away that is good said the fish he has gone away yes but your mother will come you will find this big mess the message so big and so deep and so tall we cannot pick it up there's no way at all and then who was back in the house while the cat have no fear of this mess of The Cat in the Hat I always pick up who sings this so I will show you another good trick that I know then we saw him pick up all the things that were down he picked up the cake in the rake in the gown and the milk in the strings in the Bronx and the dish and the fan and the cup in the ship in the fish and then you put them away and he said that was that and then it was gone the tip of his hat that her mother came in and she said you was to do you have any fun tell me what did you do then Sally and I did not know what say should we tell her about it now what was you do well what would you do if your mother asked you
