Pearson Microbots

This past school year (2015-2016) Pearson Elementary was presented a challenge. The challenge was named Robotics and this journey began on a bumpy road. Along with Co-Coach Zeke Gutierrez and 10 dedicated students, this road smoothed out. Weekly tasks were completed without a problem. The teamwork these students showed was AWESOME! These tasks were helping us prepare for the January competition. The day for this competition against 200+ schools was here. The day flew by and before we knew it we were back home. A few weeks later we were notified that the Pearson Microbots finished in first place amongst the 14 MCISD elementary schools. The Microbot members and coaches worked hard and had fun. We would like to thank Mrs. Melissa E. Davis, Ms. Velma Flores, and the staff and students of Pearson Elementary for their support. The Microbots look forward to doing it all over again this school year.
