Students presented their science projects at the annual Science Fair at R. Cantu Junior High from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Parents were invited to attend the awards ceremony at 6:00 p.m.

Pearson Elementary held its 3rd six weeks family reading event. "Give the Gift of Reading" was enjoyed by many. Santa Claus made a special appearance and handed out presents to both kids and adults. Join us Friday, December 16, 2016 for our 3rd Six Weeks "Give the Gift of Reading" Family Reading Event.

Santa Claus made a special visit to Pearson Elementary where he gave out presents to some of the good little boys and girls on his nice list.

Pearson Elementary students took part in a 3-phase coding seminar at the CEED (Center for Education and Economic Development). During the event, students took part in a variety of exercises that reinforced coding and coding related terms. To close off the seminar, students were afforded the opportunity to ask real world coders from Mission, Texas what their jobs entail. Students and staff alike left the seminar with a greater understanding of the coding world.
